Q. Are there minimum quantities I have to order?
A. There is no minimum order you can order as little as one meal just to check it out or as many as your freezer will hold. There are half portion meals serving 2-3 people or full portion meals serving 4-6 people.

Q. Do you deliver?
A. We deliver to most areas, you check out the delivery schedule time slots online. If you do not see your area listed then please give us a call, we may be able to accomodate you. Minimum order for delivery is $125 and there is a $8.50 delivery charge.

Q. How large are the meals?
A. We have two options. You can purchase a half portion to serve 2-3 people or a full portion to serve 4-6 people. Full portions can still be split and there is no charge for splitting meals and are better value. Just mention in your comments or when ordering that you would like your meals split.

Q. How long does it take to prepare meals?
A. We've done all the chopping, slicing, grating, and other time consuming steps. Within minutes, you  follow the simple cooking instructions on the packages and put dinner on the table in no time.  Check out our new Feature Casserole of the Month for those busy Sports nights. 

Q. Do you have any cooked meals?
A. Yes! We now have a large selection of single portion cooked meals. Great for seniors or shift workers or just tired of eating the fast food and want to take a healthy , tasty lunch to work. We are an approved supplier for Veterans Affairs and deliver to over 150 seniors. The minimum for weekly delivery to seniors is $55 and then the delivery charge is waived. The regular price on single meals is $7.95 and seniors price is $7.59 per meal.

Q. Do I have to bring anything to pick up my meals?
A. If you like, but we would be happy to pack it up for you.

Q. We are picky eaters or have specific dietary needs. Can you accomodate?
A. Absolutely! One of the beauties of Fresh Gourmet TakeAway is that everything can be customized. If you want, add a little more of this or less of that.

On a special a diet?  No worries we can help. And remember, our staff are always available to assist and give suggestions. We can also accomodate many food sensitivities, allergies and dietary restrictions. PLEASE CALL IN ADVANCE AND LET US KNOW YOUR NEEDS

Q. How can I possibly fit all this food in my freezer?
A. It's not hard. Before you come to Fresh Gourmet TakeAway, take a few minutes to clean out your freezer – The meals are packaged in Ziploc bags and take up little space. Don’t forget to leave a couple out for this weeks dinner.

Q. Will I save or spend more on food using Fresh Gourmet TakeAway?
A. You'll save! Customers tell us they spend less money using Fresh Gourmet TakeAway. No more wasted spice jars or unused product gone bad. You will save money on less meals at restaurants and more restaurant quality meals at home. There is no HST on the prepared meals or single meals and most other menu items.

Q. What if I need to reschedule a pick up time?
A. Life happens; we understand. We would be happy to freeze your meals and hold them until you are ready.

Q. How do you practice food safety at Fresh Gourmet TakeAway?
A. With great care! All of our workers have been trained in food safety; we follow our Health Department's recommendations and practice all FoodSafe commitments.   Your safety and the safety of your families is VERY important to us!

Q. How much does this cost?
A. Fresh Gourmet TakeAway is not only fun but very cost effective. Generally our meals are the same pricing as if you had store bought the ingredients, but you still have to shop, chop and clean. Each meal is individually priced with the average being $29 for a full size meal and $18 for a half size meal. Thus, uncooked meals are typically $5- $6 per serving
